Sheikh Saif Bin Hashil Al Maskery is a highly experienced diplomat and professional, well-versed with the political affairs and economics of the Gulf, thanks to experience gained over a rich and diverse career. He is currently the Chairman of the Oman-Switzerland Friendship Association, Chairman of Composite Pipes Industry; Chairman of Trifoil LLC; and Deputy Chairman of Oman & UAE Exchange Centre.

Frederic Willy Hohl
A well-known organizer of the Geneva Festivities, Frédéric Hohl is at the head of the most celebrated of Vaudoise celebrations: he has just been appointed Director of the organizing committee for the next Fête des Vignerons, which will be held in 2019 in Vevey. “Henceforth, it is my priority”, assures the newly appointed, otherwise Deputy PLR at the Grand Council of Geneva. The new Director will now devote himself half-time to the Veveysanne event, moving to 100% as of 2017.
The Genevan was unanimously chosen by the selection committee from among five finalists, says Francois Margot, Abbot-President of the Winemakers’ Brotherhood, producers of the four-times-a-century Fête. His organizational and operational skills impressed. “It was done from the bottom, not with academic degrees but with the eloquent conviction of the man of the field,” added François Margot.
Coordinating the organization, setting up of the stage – a technical feat – the transport, promotion and motivation of a large number of volunteers in working groups are all part of Frédéric Hohl’s mission. He will work together with the Artistic Director Daniele Finzi Pasca and François Margot as one of the three bosses of the next edition.
At the age of 53, Frédéric Hohl has a long track record behind him: Managing Director of Expo.02; Director of the Geneva Festivities; Producer of the Revue de Genève for six years; organizer of the cantonal Euro 2008 festivities. He is a Director of two companies, New Events Productions SA (Nepsa), created by him, and Symporg SA (congress organization), which he took over in 2008.
Sheikh Salem Said Al Wahaibi
Sheikh Salem Said Al Wahaibi is the Vice Chairman of the Assarain Group of Companies LLC. After obtaining a degree in Business Administration from the United States, Al Wahaibi initially spent time learning the intricacies of business management in the Group, and was appointed as the Managing Director in 1990. He has since taken up various positions in the group before assuming the current position. A keen businessman and sports enthusiast, Al Wahaibi has served on the boards of many banking and non-banking institutions like Bank Muscat, Oman International Bank, Oman United Insurance Co., Oman Investment & Finance Co., National Life Insurance Co. Besides, he has held several positions in various sport bodies in the Sultanate of Oman.
Hani Muhammad Al Zubair
Al Zubair has extensive knowledge and experience in financial, investment and business management. He started his career working in investment banking in Geneva and then moved to Morgan Grenfell Bank in London before joining OMINVEST in Oman.
As well as his work with The Zubair Corporation, he is a member of several Boards; Oman Arab Bank, National Training Fund and Oman-Switzerland Friendship Association. He holds the position of Chairman of Fund for the Development of Youth Projects (Sharakah), and Vice-Chairman of both the National Finance Company and the National Automotive Higher Institute. He is also a Member of the Advisory Committee for the National CEO Program. He previously held the position of Chairman at OMINVEST and served on the Boards of Commercial Bank of Oman, Muscat Finance Company and FINCORP. Al Zubair was nominated by the Government to represent the Private Sector on the Boards of Government-owned Hotels. He represented the Oman Chamber of Commerce & Industry as a member of the team for meetings of the Indian Ocean Rim – Association for Regional Co-operation, and also served on the regional board of the Young Arab Leaders. Hani holds Bachelor degrees in Mathematics and Computer Science from Richmond University, UK. He is also a keen sportsman.
Youcef Fartas had completed academic training at the University of Sorbonne in Paris in Philology and in Law at the University of Lyon, France. Over his long spanning career, he has donned many hats and brings expertise from different Industries and countries. Between 1962 -1981 he engaged himself in family Textiles manufacturing, taking on administrative, finance, marketing and leadership roles in Algeria and France. For the next 10 years he moved on to independent consulting in petroleum industries for France, UK and Belgium companies and became Advisor of Bureau VERITAS in Abu Dhabi, Oman, and Qatar.
